VERSION 2026-10-17-BETA · EARLY ACCESS
StreamAlter (the "Service") is operated by the operator of aheadachemical.com ("we", "us"). StreamAlter is the product name for the service previously offered as “Solo Studio”; the website remains at aheadachemical.com.
By creating an account, signing in, subscribing, or using StreamAlter, you agree to these Terms and Disclaimers and to the Privacy section (Section 8). We ask you to confirm this with an explicit checkbox, and we record that confirmation (your account, the Terms version, the time, and your IP address). When these Terms change in a way that gets a new version number, we will ask you to agree again before you continue. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, reliability, and availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data, rooms, recordings, or settings will be preserved.
We may modify, suspend, limit, or permanently discontinue the Service — in whole or in part — at any time, without notice and without liability to you. Features may be added or removed. Accounts, saved settings, generated characters, uploaded models, and any other data may be altered or deleted at any time. Do not rely on the Service for anything important, and keep your own copies of anything you value.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it. We offer no refunds, credits, replacements, or other remedies except where required by applicable law. Payments, including subscription charges, are made with the understanding that the Service is beta and may end at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim, or (b) USD $20.
You are responsible for everything you stream, broadcast, upload, or transmit through the Service, including webcam video, audio, avatars, imported models, chat, and the descriptions you type into the character creator. You must hold all necessary rights to that content and must not use the Service to infringe others' rights, harass, harm minors, distribute illegal content, or violate any law or any third-party platform's terms (including Twitch, YouTube, and others you broadcast to). You are solely responsible for compliance with the terms of any platform you connect or broadcast to. Sections 8B and 8D add rules and responsibilities for characters. We may remove content or terminate accounts at our discretion.
StreamAlter is not for adult content. You may not use the Service to create, upload, display, or stream sexual, pornographic, or sexually explicit content, or nudity. This applies to everything made with or shown through the Service, including characters, studios, the descriptions (prompts) you type for AI characters, AI studios, and AI eyes & mouth, and your streams, recordings, clips, and thumbnails.
Zero tolerance for minors. Any sexualized depiction of a minor, real or fictional, drawn or generated, is strictly prohibited. We will remove it, terminate the account, and report it to law enforcement and the appropriate authorities.
We block many such requests automatically (Section 8B), but you remain responsible for what you create and stream. Violations may lead to removal of the content and suspension or termination of your account without refund, at our discretion.
The Service may interoperate with third-party platforms and services we do not control, including streaming and chat platforms you choose to connect, our payment processor (Stripe, Section 9.3), our email delivery provider, the AI image provider used by the character creator (Section 8A), and content-delivery networks that serve parts of the app. We are not responsible for those platforms, their content, their availability, or your agreements with them. Broadcasting to a platform is your responsibility and subject to that platform's own rules.
Your camera stays on your device. Face tracking runs locally in your browser. The eye and mouth cutouts are made from your camera feed on your own computer and drawn into the page there. We do not upload, receive, or record your camera video or audio. The same applies to the desktop overlay app: it runs on your computer, opens StreamAlter in its own window, and processes your camera locally. The overlay saves your private broadcast key in its app-data folder and writes an activity log next to the app, both on your computer and not sent to us.
What we store on our server:
Who else receives data: our payment processor (to bill you), our email delivery provider (to send sign-in links), and the AI image provider (to generate characters; Section 8A). When you use StreamAlter, your browser also downloads code and face-tracking models directly from third-party content-delivery networks, and fonts from a font service; those services can see your IP address as part of normal web traffic. If you turn on optional chat or live-status features, your browser connects directly to the platforms involved (for example, Twitch, Kick, or YouTube).
The Service uses a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. Because the Service is beta, do not transmit sensitive personal information through it.
The character creator turns a short description into a character image. To do that, the description you type is first sent to a third-party AI provider (currently xAI) for an automated review (Section 8B), and then, together with the style you choose and our own generation instructions, to that provider's image service. With each request we send a coded account identifier that does not include your email address or name. The provider's own terms and policies may apply to that content. The resulting images are processed on our server (for example, the background is removed), stored there, tied to your account, and served only to your account (including through your broadcast key).
If you delete a character, we delete its images and character files. We keep a record of the request, including the description you typed, so that generation limits and abuse controls keep working.
The character creator is a beta feature. Generations are limited per account and by site-wide caps, may be available only to some accounts, and may be paused, changed, or ended at any time. A try that was used still counts after the character is deleted. Results are generated by AI and may be imperfect, inaccurate, or not what you asked for; some requests are blocked automatically. Beta limits, caps, pauses, and imperfect results are not grounds for a refund or credit, except where required by applicable law (see Section 4).
Do not submit descriptions for, or use the Service to create or display, characters that:
We and the AI provider may block requests automatically. We may remove characters and suspend or terminate access for violations, at our discretion.
Steps we take, and their limits. To help prevent copyright, trademark, and likeness problems, the character creator: (1) blocks descriptions that use the names of well-known characters, franchises, studios, and brands, including common misspellings and spacing tricks; (2) runs every description through an automated AI review before anything is generated, and turns away descriptions that appear to ask for an existing copyrighted or trademarked character or a real person; and (3) lets characters be reported so we can review them and hide them. The reporting tool is being rolled out; until it is available to you, contact the operator of this site. These are basic safeguards only. They are not guaranteed to catch everything, they may sometimes block a description that is fine, and a character getting through them does not mean we have reviewed, cleared, or approved it.
As between you and us, you own the descriptions you submit and, to the extent the law allows, the character images generated for you. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, rendering your character in your browser, OBS, or the overlay). Similar descriptions can produce similar results for other users, so we do not promise that a generated character is unique or exclusive to you, or that it can be protected by copyright or any other right. You are responsible for checking that your character is suitable for your intended use.
The Service itself, the site and app artwork, and our example characters and other site art remain ours. You may use them on your streams while you use the Service, but you do not own them.
You are solely responsible for making sure that your descriptions, the characters generated from them, and how you use those characters — including on streams, recordings, clips, and thumbnails — do not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, likeness (right of publicity), or other rights. Our safeguards in Section 8B do not shift that responsibility to us.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us (cover our losses) and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your descriptions, your generated characters, your other content, or how you use them.
StreamAlter access is a monthly subscription (currently USD $9.99 per month) processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe (Section 9.3), billed in advance each billing period until you cancel. While your subscription is active it grants access to the hosted Service. The subscription does not include a license to copy or self-host the studio. Section 9.2 explains how the hosted studio may be used. You may cancel at any time from the account panel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. All payments are final — no refunds, no credits, no remedies, including for unused time in a billing period, except where required by applicable law. The subscription is not a warranty of future availability: the hosted Service remains beta, provided as-is, and may change or shut down (Section 3). You authorize the recurring charges you initiate until you cancel. We may change the subscription price with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
Copies of the application downloaded before the download was closed are unsupported — we provide no maintenance, updates, or assistance for them, and they are provided strictly AS IS. They may not be shared or hosted for others. We do not promise uptime, features, updates, or continued operation of the hosted Service. Accounts holding a legacy one-time lifetime purchase keep their hosted access under the no-refund, as-is terms above; that is the full extent of what any payment guarantees.
An active subscription, or a legacy lifetime purchase, lets you use StreamAlter by loading it from aheadachemical.com while your account is active. That includes the browser, OBS, and the official desktop overlay. It does not let you copy the studio page, save it to run on its own, host it yourself, or give the page to anyone else. Each page we serve is tied to the account that loaded it. A saved or copied page is not licensed, is not supported, and is not part of the Service. We may pause a live session if the account is no longer active, or if the page cannot reach the Service for an extended time. The old single-file download is closed.
Payments are processed by Stripe on the Stripe Checkout page; we do not receive or store your full card number. By subscribing, you agree to the Stripe Consumer Terms of Service, which apply to Stripe services you use as a paying customer (for example, if you save your payment details with Link), and you acknowledge the Stripe Privacy Policy, which explains how Stripe handles your payment information. The Stripe Services Agreement is Stripe’s agreement with us as the business and does not bind you. Stripe’s terms cover Stripe’s payment services only; these Terms govern the Service and your subscription, including the no-refund terms above.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes are indicated by a new version identifier, and continued use after a change — or re-acceptance when prompted — constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, limitation of liability, no remedies) survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Questions or a content complaint (for example, a character that depicts you or uses your work): contact the operator of this site. This document is provided for a beta product and does not constitute legal advice to you.
